PSY's 'Gangnam Style' Hits 1
Billion Views on YouTube
Billboard.com: Becomes First Single Video on the
Internet to Reach 1B Milestone. PSYs "Gangnam Style" has
just become the first video in the history of the
Internet to surpass one billion views.
At some point in the 10 o'clock hour ET on Friday (Dec.
21), PSY's mega-hit reached this unprecedented milestone
just 27 days after surpassing Justin Bieber's "Baby" as
the most watched video on YouTube. The video's YouTube
page updated with 1,000,382,639 at 10:50 a.m. A precise
time has not been announced.
In the days after breaking the 803 million YouTube view
record, "Gangnam Style" has sustained over 6.5 million
views per day - that's 76.4 view per second.
To compare to the second most popular video on the
Internet, "Baby" likely won't cross the 1 billion view
mark until late 2014, according to projections provided
by Next Big Sound. Its decelerating view count currently
hovers just above 300,000 per day, or only 3 views per
second - a rate that is likely to continue to shrink.
Unsurprisingly, PSY has gone on to become the platform's
top trending YouTube video in 2012.
"Gangnam Style" spent 5 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard
K-Pop Hot 100, reaching the No. 1 spot before even
debuting on the Hot 100. The song is in its 15th week on
the U.S.-based Hot 100, with 7 weeks spent in the No. 2
position, held from the throne by Maroon 5's "One More
Night"
For a time "Gangnam Style" was the most listened to song
on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Rdio and Mog,
holding the No. 1 spot on the On-Demand Songs chart for
5 weeks.
As YouTube has become the number one place teens go to
listen to new music, according to a Nielsen study, the
platform has emerged as a revenue generator for many
artists. What exactly does 1 billion views look like
from an earnings standpoint? Using conservative
estimates across several verticals, we can create a
breakdown of "Gangnam Style" approximate earnings. At a
reported rate of $2 for every 1,000 views, Gangnam
generates $2,000,000 from YouTube alone. Factoring in
3.07 million $1.29 digital single downloads of "Gangnam
Style" (according to Nielsen Soundscan), PSY brings in
an estimated additional $3,960,000 from digital
downloads and $50,000 in additional revenues generated
from On-Demand streaming services such as Spotify, Rdio
and Mog. Excluding additional his puts "Gangnam Style"
an estimated $6.01 million in revenues from this
recorded piece of music in just the 5 months the single
has been out.
Undoubtedly, the greatest contributing factor to "Gangnam
Style's" success were the fans who created covers and
shared the songs with friends, helping the video to go
viral. But the song also gained a lift from the exposure
it received on radio and television. It garnered 519
million in cumulative audience, according to Nielsen BDS,
over its 12-weeks-and-counting run on Hot 100 airplay.
It peaked at No. 12 on the ranking the week of Oct. 27.
"Gangnam Style's" popularity afforded PSY a litany of
opportunities to appear on television, both in the US
and abroad. He appeared on ABC News, NBC's "Today" show
(twice), the MTV Video Music Awards, "Ellen" (twice),
"Saturday Night Live," "Chelsea Lately," "Jimmy Kimmel
Live!", "The View," the American Music Awards, MTV's "EMAs,"
as well as a halftime show during a Buffalo
Bills-Seattle Seahawks game.
These are just his in-person appearances -- his music or
video has also been featured on "Glee," Fox News' "The
O'Reilly Factor," CNN, etc; but not his actual self
appearing.
The rapper's 2012 isn't over, though. Look out for PSY
performing on "Christmas In Washington 2012" tonight on
TBS and he'll close out the year with an appearance on
"New Year's Rockin' Eve." He's also at work on new
material for his newly-minted deal with Scooter Braun's
Schoolboy Record and Universal Republic.

Spice Girls Reunite for the
Opening of Their Musical
All five former members of the Spice Girls—Melanie
Brown, Melanie Chisolm, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, and
Victoria Beckham—once again reunited for the world
premiere of their new musical Viva Forever on Dec. 11 at
Piccadilly Theatre in London's West End.
Brown wore a body-hugging sequined gown; Chisolm rocked
an olive minidress; Halliwell looked svelte in a baby
blue strapless; Bunton donned a royal blue lace frock;
and Beckham decided to forgo a dress for a, well, posh
black pantsuit.
Unfortunately, the musical—which features Spice Girls
songs like "Wannabe" and "Two Becomes One," and a script
by Absolutely Fabulous star Jennifer Saunders—has
garnered mostly negative reviews.
"I'll tell you what I wanted, what I really, really
wanted—I wanted this terrible show to stop," said
Charles Spencer in the Daily Telegraph.
For her part, the 40-year-old Halliwell (Ginger Spice)
has only praise for the show, which has sold over 3
million pounds-worth of advance tickets in London: "The
show had so many layers to it…. It exceeded my
expectations," she told Rolling Stone.
As for a real Spice Girls reunion? "We always say that
it's just a case of having that conversation and
actually making it happen," said Brown, 37, who
performed with her four bandmates in an unforgettable
London Olympics closing ceremony performance in July.
"I'm always the one championing the Spice reunion so
you'll have to speak to the other girls about that one.
We haven't had that conversation yet. I think quite a
few of us are up for it, actually."
After the performance, Beckham, 38, headed home with her
sons and husband David Beckham while the rest of the
band continued the celebration at an after-party at
Supernova club in London. Now a fashion designer,
Beckham reportedly snubbed her former bandmates at the
beginning of the night as well, choosing to walk the red
carpet with her hubby and kids rather than with the
girls.

Taylor & Harry Get Far Away
for Her Birthday
Taylor Swift is taking the road less traveled for her
birthday.
The country star, who turns 23 on Thursday, has been
getting a tour of rural northern England – where a fan
snapped this photo – from her beau, One Direction singer
Harry Styles.
The couple ate dinner by an open fire in a country pub
and toured the picturesque Lake District, picking up
classic children's souvenirs – and goofing around to
seasonal songs in a shop.
On Tuesday night they popped into the Rising Sun pub in
Hope Valley, in the Peak District, about 170 miles north
of London, where they dined on "traditional English
food," manager Sarah Walker tells PEOPLE.
Sitting in an alcove by the fire, they were joined by
two friends about their age, locals report. There was
little evidence of them behaving like boyfriend and
girlfriend, Walker says.
"She was polite and pleasant – fantastic," Walker says.
"She is just having a nice tour of England. They were
like any typical group of people having dinner. Everyone
thinks they are a couple, but to be honest, we had no
sense of that at all."
Swift said she "loved" being in Britain and was "excited
about her birthday," Walker adds.
With calls coming into the pub from as far away as
California and Canada, it shows the reach of the boy
band and country star. People are already asking to sit
in their special table, Walker reports.
The following day, the couple were spotted a little
further northwest, in the Lake District. At Bowness,
they stopped into the World of Beatrix Potter to visit
the store. Swift bought some soft toys, and she and
Styles struck the workers as "nice and charming," chief
executive Andy Poole says.
Styles, who is from the north of England, and Swift were
being shepherded around by Styles's mom.
"They were dancing around to the seasonal music being
played. Harry was being the most boisterous," Poole
reports. Sadly, they didn’t break into song. "They
didn’t give any impromptu concert, no!"
But Swift's birthday has been more than fun for the
singer, she's also marking it with two professional
milestones.

Bieber booed in native Canada
by football fans
Justin Bieber faced a hostile homecoming during his
halftime performance at Canada's football Grey Cup,
facing boos and jeers.
The Toronto crowd booed Sunday when the 18-year-old pop
star's face popped up on the JumboTron screen. They
booed when a host spoke his name. And they booed as he
took the stage and throughout his medley of the
chart-topper "Boyfriend" and the disco-inflected "Beauty
and a Beat."
If Bieber was bothered, it didn't show.
"Thank you so much Canada," Bieber said. "I love you."
Earlier in the week, Bieber was presented with a Diamond
Jubilee Medal by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and
caused a scene by wearing overalls, unbuttoned on one
shoulder, over a white T-shirt, with a backwards
baseball cap.
There was sufficient uproar that Harper even weighed in
on Twitter.
"In fairness to (Bieber)," Harper tweeted Sunday, "I
told him I would be wearing my overalls too."
The Canadian Football League may have been hoping to
court Bieber's army of tween followers on Sunday. But
recent Grey Cup halftime performers have skewed toward
the comparatively heavy likes of Nickelback and Lenny
Kravitz.
"J-Biebs doesn't scream football, you know? Neither does
Carly Rae Jepsen," said Calgary's Ryan Prisque, 22.
The 27-year-old Jepsen also received a mixed reaction at
first Sunday but won the crowd over during an
enthusiastic medley of her latest single, "This Kiss,"
and her infectious hit "Call Me Maybe."

PSY Trumps Justin Bieber for
Most-Watched YouTube Video Ever and 10 Things to Know
About PSY
Oh, the Belibers are probably not happy right now,
unless of course they are also fans of PSY (and
honestly, who isn't?). The Korean rap artist hit another
huge career milestone today: his video for "Gangnam
Style" officially has more views than Justin Bieber's
video for "Baby" which was the most-watched video on
YouTube ever.
Not anymore! Currently, "Baby" has 803,732,561 views
while "Gangnam Style" counts 806,283,968 views. Not a
huge difference, but, it should be noted that Justin's
video was released in February of 2010, while PSY's has
only been around since July. "Gangnam Style" also holds
the Guinness Book of World Records title for
"most-liked" YouTube video in history: it has 5,374,436
likes and just 325,581 dislikes. Meanwhile, Bieber's
video has more dislikes than likes, astonishingly.
That said, we realized that while we know a whole lot
about the Bieb (he likes spaghetti, he likes the color
purple, he spent last Friday night sulking outside of
Selena Gomez's house, his mom hasn't had sex in 16 years
etc.), we don't nearly as much about PSY. So here are
some basic and not-so-basic things you should know about
pop music's latest sensation.

Taylor Swift Wins Favorite
Female Country Artist at AMAs & Performs "I Knew You
Were Trouble"
America's sweetheart Taylor Swift ditched the fairy tale
dress last night for a goth number!
When the favorite female country artist at the AMAs
performed "I Knew You Were Trouble," we caught a
different glimpse of the star. After beating Miranda
Lambert and Carrie Underwood in the category, there was
no doubt about it: It was Taylor's night to shine.
Descending the stage from a winding staircase similar to
her "Love Story" video, a masquerade party morphed from
a fairy tale with masked suitors to a dance party!
The dubstep beat pumped and Taylor ditched a long white
dress for a red corsette, black tulle skirt and metallic
cowboy boots! Go Taylor!
Then she crooned, “I knew you were trouble when you
walked in/So shame on me now/Flew me to places I’d never
been/Now I’m lying on the cold hard ground.”
At the end of Taylor's song, she finished the dark
performance with her trademark smile.

It's Over! Justin Bieber and
Selena Gomez Split
After weeks of rumors hinting at a split, it looks like
it finally has come to an end: supercouple Justin Bieber
and Selena Gomez are done.
E! News reports that the Biebs, 18, and Selena, 20,
actually broke up quietly about a week ago.
"Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder
and harder to maintain a relationship," a source said.
Crazy schedules don't help anything, but is there more
to the story? Sources have also shed some unflattering
light on Selena's "jealousy issues."
"Selena can be so dramatic about Justin's exes, who
aren't even in her league! They both engage in really
petty arguments and it's killing their relationship," a
friend of the pair told RadarOnline.com in October.
So far, all's quiet on the Twitter front (at least from
Justin and Selena's official accounts) but we will let
you know if the Bieb addresses any of those ominous
Tweets he was sending shortly before the split!
At least Selena doesn't have to be hounded by superfans
of the Bieb anymore.

Taylor Swift: Recalling My
Ex-Boyfriends "Makes Me Feel So Bad About Myself"
On The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, the 22-year-old
country singer chats about her new album, Red, which
features more breakup hits about her ex-boyfriends.
Much to DeGeneres' dismay, Swift vehemently denies she
ever dated Zac Efron -- despite the adorable duet they
performed together during her last appearance on the
show. "There's nothing really about Zac on the CD . . .
because we didn't date," the singer said.
In order to try and determine who her new song, "We Are
Never Ever Getting Back Together," is about, DeGeneres
decided to show a slideshow of Swift's rumored exes. She
then asked Swift to ring a bell for three pictures, so
the audience could narrow down who it is about.
"But I don't want to! I don't want to!" Swift shouted.
"Because they'll send me angry emails and I don't want
to get them!"
She flat out denied dating Efron, Justin Timberlake and
Ashton Kutcher when their pictures appeared, but got
uncomfortable when photos of Taylor Lautner, Cory
Monteith and John Mayer flashed on the screen.
"Stop it, stop it, stop!" Swift screamed. "This makes me
feel so bad about myself. Every time I come up here you
put a different dude up on the screen. It just makes me
really question what I stand for as a human being.
There's never been two guys on the screen two visits in
a row. It's sad."
"Well, you have to come here more often," DeGeneres
offered as a solution. "That's what it is."

Justin Bieber Is a Distant
Cousin of Ryan Gosling and Céline Dion
Justin Bieber is a distant cousin of Ryan Gosling,
Céline Dion and Avril Lavigne, genealogists at
Ancestry.com said Thursday – with their family links
dating back to the early settlers of Canada's Quebec
province.
Bieber and Gosling are 11th cousins once removed; he and
and Dion are 10th cousins three times removed; and he
and Lavigne are 12th cousins.
"The great thing about family history is that you never
know what you're going to find," Michelle Ercanback, a
researcher with Ancentry.com, told the Associated Press.
"It was a very pleasant surprise."
All the connections date back to two French couples who
moved to Quebec in the 1600s. Bieber, Gosling and
Lavigne count Mathurin Roy and Marguerite Bire as common
ancestors; Bieber and Dion are connected through another
couple, Jacques Vezina and Marie Boisdon.
In more modern-day Bieber news, the singer, 18, was the
victim of a "swatting" prank Tuesday night, TMZ.com
reports, as a SWAT team descended on his home to
investigate anonymous – and ultimately false – reports
by a 911 caller of a gunman on the loose there.
The pop star also appears in a lengthy new anti-bullying
PSA, in which he talks with a Long Island student about
the topic.
The PSA was mandated by a court as part of a plea deal
in a criminal case against Bieber's manager, Scooter
Braun, and one other executive stemming from a
crowd-control problem at a Long Island mall in 2009.
Braun and James Roppo were accused of failing to
cooperate with police and hindering police efforts to
disperse a crowd at a scheduled Bieber appearance.

A 'Little Drunk' Chris Brown
Says He's In Love With Two People
Fresh on the heels of his break up with aspiring model
Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown released a video to his fans
(titled "The Real Chris Brown") explaining his current
state of emotions.
In the clip, the singer states he's "a little drunk,"
before rambling about being "stressed" because he's in
love with two people - while showing footage of him and
ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
"When you share history with somebody, then you tend to
fall in love with somebody else, it's kinda difficult,"
Chris says in the video. "Is there such thing as loving
two people? I don't know if that's possible, but for me,
I feel like that."
The "Don't Wake Me Up" singer, 23, also said he doesn't
want to cause either woman any pain.
"I don't wanna hurt either or. I'm not tryin' to be a
player, I ain't tryin' to be a dog," he said.
Karrueche took to Twitter to respond to her now-ex's
video, writing,"WTF is going on? All I'm saying is, you
don't mess with people's genuine feelings. You just
don't!"
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Rihanna
and Chris were spotted together at a Jay-Z concert in
Brooklyn on Wednesday.
Earlier in the evening, both Chris, 23, and Rihanna, 24,
were spotted leaving the Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattan
separately.
The concert appearance comes on the heels of reports
that the former couple was seen making out at NYC
hotspot Griffin earlier this week.

Selena Gomez Talks Learning How
to Smoke a Bong on Jimmy Kimmel
Selena Gomez appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to
chat about her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, and new edgy
role in Harmony Korine's upcoming movie, Spring
Breakers.
First things first, her and the Biebs like to normal
run-of-the mill stuff like go bowling. Regardless of the
throng of female fans who trail him, she says it's no
biggie and while dressing in disguise may work, he
always like to look "cool."
One thing she and J.Biebs definitely don't do together?
Smoke bongs. Selena told Jimmy she had to learn this
skill for her role in Spring Breakers.
”I smoke a bong and I get drunk and dance with guys,"
she said when Jimmy asked about the most R-rated thing
she does in the flick.
But whenver she used the word "bong" she makes a
perplexed face.
"I'd never done it before," she admits. "It was funny,
they had to teach me how to use it."
So what did she smoke?
"The fake stuff...like grass" which she said was so
"horrible" it scared her straight from trying the real
stuff.

Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson &
American Idol Crew Share Season 12 Excitement
The judging panel for American Idol has finally been set

bit rock and roll.
Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban are teaming up with Mariah
Carey and Idol stalwart Randy Jackson, who returns for
the singing competition's 12th season starting in
January.
While endless names were rumored to fill the seats at
the judges table, returning host Ryan Seacrest confirmed

official, your new #IdolJudges are @MariahCarey, @NickiMinaj,
@KeithUrban & @Yo_RandyJackson!
"We are back, it's on," Randy Jackson told his followers
a few hours later.
Carey even chimed in to share a photo, "At the @AmericanIdol

Aspiring superstars are now meeting the new, eclectic

began Sunday.

Jennifer Lopez, Casper Smart
Have a Pool Party with the Twins
Ending her world tour with Enrique Iglesias in Miami
this weekend, Jennifer Lopez made a splash Thursday in
the SLS pool on South Beach with Casper Smart and her
adorable twins Emme and Max.
Clad in a sexy strapless yellow bikini with her hair up
in a bun, Lopez, 42, spent time in the pool with her
4-year-old children and a smiling, doting Casper, 25.
"It was very hot and humid when the couple and her kids
were swimming," a source tells PEOPLE. "Casper looked
like he was really into playing with the kids in the
pool. They looked like a happy family."
Smart showed off his strengths, carrying Emme on his
shoulder and launching her into the air. Wearing a cute
red-and-white bikini, she was doing little dances and
prances, smiling and having a blast, says the source.
At one point, the children were playing with swim toys
while Lopez and Smart were teasing each other and
laughing on a lounge.
"They were kidding each other, making jokes and enjoying
the late summer afternoon," the source adds. "They
looked both energized and relaxed."

Katy Perry 'Was Starting to
Fall for' John Mayer, Says Source
Katy Perry and John Mayer's coupling appears to have
ended before it ever really began.
So what sort of relationship did they have? "They
weren't serious, but she was really starting to fall for
him," a source close to Perry, 27, tells PEOPLE.
"She wasn't seeing forever with him, but saw it lasting
longer than it did," says the source of the singer,
whose husband Russell Brand filed for divorce in
December.
The source adds that it appears that Mayer, 34,
initiated the split, though the decision may have been a
mutual one. "Katy likes the 'new' part of a
relationship, when everything's exciting and you're
getting to know the guy. So she wanted to continue
experiencing that with John."
But it's possible that their friendship will prevail.
"There isn't any emotional baggage with them," adds the
source. "They may go out again, even, just as friends."
Meanwhile, Mayer didn't sit home and nurse a broken
heart. On Thursday night, he was spotted out at Soho
House in West Hollywood where he was seen sipping a
Moscow mule and "flirting and talking" with two women,
according to an observer.
"The girls were listening intently and he was leading
the [conversation]," says the source, who adds that the
group had a couple of drinks together.

Joe Jonas: Taylor Swift's
Breakup Tune Isn't About Me
Scratch one person off the list of guys who Taylor Swift
could be referring to in her latest tell-all song, "We
Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
Joe Jonas – who alluded to splitting from the star, 22,
in a 2008 MySpace post – is adamant that the tune, which
is about a couple who can't stay broken up, is not based
on him.
"I don't think we've ever tried [to get back together]
another time, so I can tell you it's not about me,"
Jonas, 23, said during an interview posted on Wednesday
with Washington, D.C.'s 94.7 Fresh FM radio. "That said,
I think the song is great. Taylor does pop music really
well and I'm happy for her."
Jonas, who said he and his ex keep in touch "as much as
we can," is such a big fan of her music that he's even
gone to see her perform.
"I haven't really spoken to her recently, but I was able
to go to her concert last year, and her show live is so
phenomenal," he says. "I would say anybody should go see
it if they haven't had a chance."
So, with process of elimination, it's now down to John
Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Lautner as possible
subjects of Swift's latest piece.
As for Swift, she has moved on with her new beau Conor
Kennedy.

Spice Girls to Close Out London
Olympics
The Olympics are about to get extra Sporty.
As the London Games come to a close after two weeks of
gold-medal triumphs and crushing disappointments, the
Spice Girls are set to perform at the Sunday finale.
"If the opening ceremony was the wedding, then we're the
wedding reception," music director David Arnold tells
the Daily Telegraph.
Also expected to perform in the show, which will include
British hits from the past five decades: The Who, George
Michael, Muse, the Pet Shop Boys and Annie Lennox.
But it's the Girls who've garnered the most attention so
far. Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm,
Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell were spotted rehearsing
atop black cabs (bedazzled for the occassion!) in London
on Thursday.
Earlier this year, Chisholm (aka "Sporty") made it clear
to Olympic organizers that she really, really, really
wanted the group to be included.
"I'd be really upset if the Spice Girls weren't included
in the Olympics, whether it be the opening or closing
ceremonies or any other playlists, because I think we
absolutely represented Britain in the ‘90s," she said.
"I think it would be a real shame if we weren't
acknowledged in some way at the Olympics."

Jennifer Lopez Previews Her
Summer Tour Dance Moves
Before Jennifer Lopez was ready to hit the stage in
one-of-a-kind Zuhair Murad costumes, Jenny from the
Block donned sweats and sneakers to learn the moves for
her sexy summer tour.
In this exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, artistic
director and choreographer Liz Imperio – a Latin dance
specialist who's also worked with Madonna, Gloria
Estefan and Lopez's ex Marc Anthony – reveals the hard
work she and Lopez, 43, put into the routine for "Let's
Get Loud."
"I think this number … is probably the hardest number
that I've ever had to do in my life," says Lopez, who's
been working with Imperio since her first concerts 11
years ago. "[I've] never done anything like this."
Lopez will be on the road in the U.S. with Enrique
Iglesias through Sept. 2 before she heads to the U.K.
and Europe. "This is my dream," she says. "This is what
I've always wanted to do."

Mariah Carey Finalizing
'American Idol' Deal
We guess they can afford it! Mariah Carey is reportedly
finalizing a deal to become a judge on American Idol,
despite hubby Nick Cannon's assertion earlier this week
that the show might not be able to "afford" his wife.
Mariah will, of course, be filling one of the spots
vacated by Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.
Deadline reports that the powerhouse vocalist is working
out a deal for more than $17 million, beating out
Britney Spears' X Factor paycheck. There was talk that
Mariah was going to judge the fledgling competition show
back in 2010 also, but a deal never came to light.
American Idol producers know they need to step it up for
next season in order to run with The X Factor and The
Voice, and technically, it would be difficult to get a
voice bigger than Mariah's; we think she is a great
choice for a judge. We know one person who will
definitely be happy -- Idol vet Pia Toscano, who told E!
News back in May she thought Mariah would be a perfect
judge.

Jennifer Lopez Isn't Giving Up
on the 'Fairy Tale' of Marriage
The superstar, 42, who was unsure in January if she'd
ever want to wed again, now says after three failed
marriages, she still aspires to have the perfect union.
"For me, the biggest dream is the fairy tale," Lopez
tells ABC News's Amy Robach, adding that "yes" she would
give marriage another chance. "I will never give up on
that dream."
Although it's no secret that Lopez – who announced her
split from Marc Anthony last summer – is smitten with
her backup dancer Casper Smart, she played coy when
asked about him, laughing and saying "nope" when asked
if she'd discuss her current love life.
Smart, 25, however, was a bit more forthcoming when it
came to talking about his leading lady.
"Sometimes I tell her something – you know, give her
notes," says Smart, who is the chief choreographer and
dancer on Lopez's tour. "Sometimes she gives me notes.
But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter whose
position is what, because she's the boss."
Even though the pair now seems inseparable, Smart
insists it wasn't love at first sight for the couple.
"I don't think it was for either of us," he says. "It
was very natural how it happened. There was nothing
before. No flirting, nothing before. Just natural. It
just happened."

Jennifer Lopez: Yes, I'm
Leaving American Idol
As long suspected, Jennifer Lopez will not be returning
to the judge's panel of American Idol. The 42-year-old
singer, actress and designer confirmed the news to Idol
host Ryan Seacrest Friday morning during a call to his
On Air With Ryan Seacrest radio show.
"I really have been torn," said Lopez, who has been
juggling her music, film and Idol duties with motherhood
to twins Emme and Max, 4.
"When I signed on to Idol [in 2010], I signed on to do
one year. I wound up doing two years because I fell in
love with the show," she told Seacrest in a tearful
voice. "I didn't know I would be so moved emotionally .
. . it was just such a lovely surprise in my life to do
it."
Lopez, in the midst of a tour with Enrique Iglesias,
added: It gets more complicated as the kids get a little
bigger. Somethng had to give. Something had to give. I
really was dreading this phone call with you!"
Continued the star: "You're gonna make me cry. The time
has come."
Lopez's official departure comes just one day after
Steven Tyler also confirmed his exit from the FOX smash.
"After some long…hard…thoughts…I've decided it’s time
for me to let go of my mistress 'American Idol' before
she boils my rabbit . . .I strayed from my first love,
AEROSMITH, and I'm back," the 64-year-old rocker said in
a statement.
Indeed, the judges' table may end up being all-new faces
-- as an insider told Us Weekly that Randy Jackson may
be transitioning from the judges' table to a mentoring
role.
Waiting in the wings? Mariah Carey. "They are in serious
talks with Mariah and it's very close to being a done
deal," the source says. "And they will move Randy into a
more mentoring role."

Britney Spears Walks Off The X
Factor Set After Contestant's Tribute
For Britney Spears, listening to an X Factor hopeful
perform a cover of one of her songs may have been a
total drag – literally.
During Monday's auditions in Greensboro, N.C., Spears
stormed off the set as a man, dressed partially as a
woman, rocked through one of her hits, "(You Drive Me)
Crazy."
Spears, 30, looked stunned throughout the performance,
as fellow judge L.A. Reid patted her on the back. Judges
Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell also couldn't contain their
reactions, as they covered their faces with their hands.
And neither could the crowd – but they seemed to be
instant fans of the audition.
While Reid and Lovato followed the pop star off the set,
Cowell stayed behind. "I don't think she quite
understood your tribute," he told the singer, who wore
cat glasses, a bedazzled jean jacket, boots and his hair
tucked in a bun.
"I had to fight real hard to get here," the tearful
singer told the judges, adding that he was recently on
welfare and nearly missed his X Factor call because he
couldn't afford his phone bill.
"I really respect the tribute," Spears said when she
returned to the judges' table. "It was really nice."

Madonna Breaks Down and Cries
On Stage During Berlin Concert
Those who buy Madonna MDNA tour tickets really do get
their money's worth!
In Berlin, Madonna launched into a slow, barely
recognizable rendition of her poppy 1984 anthem "Like A
Virgin." She writhed around on stage wearing a black
bra, trousers and the words No Fear written on her back.
Those in the front were busy taking cellphone pictures,
but Madonna was completely absorbed in the moment with
her eyes pursed shut.
About halfway through the song, tears sprang from the
singer's eyes and she stopped briefly to let a few
trickle down her face in what appeared to be a mini
meltdown.
Revelers called out for the singer not to cry, while a
buff back-up dancer lifted her up and tied her into a
corset.
While this new twist was authentically melodramatic,
fans in other cities have been treated to a more playful
version. Madonna famously flashed the audience in
Istanbul and gave ticket-holders a view of her bare
backside in Rome.

Simon Cowell Is 'Fascinated' By
'Shy' Britney Spears
Simon Cowell says Britney Spears is serious when it
comes to finding talent.
"She's not on the show to be Britney Spears on a TV
show," the X Factor boss, 52, says of the "Till the
World Ends" singer, 30. "She's actually there to prove
to the world there's more to her, and she's got the
ability to do this job really well. She's taken the role
really seriously."
Part of what Cowell likes most about the pop star – with
whom he is "fascinated" – is her down-to-earth nature.
"It's quite interesting because when someone has done
what she's done as she has with her career, and being
such a public person, you kind of think she is going to
be very confident, but in real life she's shy," he says.
"There's kind of a mystique about her which I think is
what kind of attracted me to her in the place."
As for fellow judge Demi Lovato, 19, Cowell calls her a
"total brat," explaining that she's "completely
fearless, irreverent."
Adds Cowell, "A lot of people who watch our show are 16,
17, 18 and younger, so we had to have someone I thought
on the panel that could reflect that younger audience,
and I've never done that before, and I wasn't sure it
was going to work."
So far it's working, Cowell says, and the new judges are
opening his eyes and ears. "Because the two girls are on
the panel," he says, "I'm kind of seeing and hearing
this in a totally different way."

Beyoncé Has an ‘Angelina
Moment’ at the BET Awards
The mega-slit trend is here to stay! Beyoncé showed off
her enviable gams Sunday at the BET Awards, instantly
giving us flashbacks to Angelina Jolie‘s leg moment at
the Oscars.
The superstar flaunted her knockout post-baby bod in a
stem-baring silk chartreuse one-shouldered Stephane
Rolland gown teamed with ankle-strap sandals and
Lorraine Schwartz jewels; Jolie famously wore a black
Atelier Versace creation to the Academy Awards earlier
this year.
Beyoncé isn’t the only star to follow the future Mrs.
Brad Pitt‘s lead: Jennifer Aniston, Rihanna and Jennifer
Lawrence (to name a few) have all recently showed some —
OK, a lot — of leg.

Katy Perry Tells Jay Leno
"People Will Relate" to Her Divorce
Katy Perry's Part of Me is set to hit theaters on July
5, and it's no secret the singer features her messy
split with ex-husband Russell Brand in the documentary.
Russell and Katy called it quits last December after 14
months of marriage, and she hasn't been shy about
telling the press why she chose to feature it in her new
3-D film. In fact, she expanded upon this telling Jay
Leno last night she didn't have much choice when
deciding whether or not to show her marriage crumbling.
"I think that if you went to see the movie and it was
completely avoided you come out of that theater going,
'Hmmm...That's strange, I know something else did happen
at that time in her life last year,"' she said.
Rather, the dissolution of her marriage makes her more
relatable to "half" of the country.
"I wanted to handle it very delicately with the most
integrity I could possibly have and show people that
like, 'Look yeah I'm going through some of the same
situations that half of America goes through,'" she
said. "Somehow I landed on my feet and you don't have to
lay down and die even if you feel like you're going to."
Katy also covered the June/July issue of L'Uomo Vogue
and told the magazine she sees her style as ever
evolving and pinpointed Madonna as one of her icons.
"She was able to keep up the interest of the people,
because you never knew with what she would come out with
the next time. And, regularly, has offered a solid and
consistent musical product. I hope to do the same, to
make sure that people continue to be interested in me
and in ten years, to find out, looking back, I have
produced songs that will never be forgotten."

The X Factor Judges Walk Out of
Kansas City Auditions
Britney Spears wasn't the only one needing a break this
time.
All four judges of The X Factor walked out of the Kansas
City auditions at the Sprint Center on Saturday after a
vocally challenged contestant faced away from the panel
as he sang.
"It was really awkward," says an audience member. "You
could tell the judges were done."
Spears, Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and Louis Walsh, who was
subbing for an ill Simon Cowell, chose to leave in the
middle of the audition rather than remain in front of a
contestant who refused to look at them.
"I don't think they had a choice," says the guest. "They
didn't want to waste their time."
The male contestant didn't even notice the departure and
continued to sing long after the judges left the
building.
All but Spears returned to finish the show with one
final contestant. Audience members were chanting,
"Where's Britney?" as the other three judges offered
their critique to the last contestant.
The show's warm-up comedian was the only one to respond:
"I don't know!"
Spears did return later for a second show taping in
Kansas City.

Jessica Simpson Reveals
After-Baby Weight Loss Plan
Like all new mothers, after Jessica Simpson gave birth
to her 9 lb., 13 oz. daughter, Maxwell Drew, she was
ready to go back to her pre-baby body – and fast.
"I think anybody who's gone through a pregnancy, after
they have the baby, it's like, 'I need to do something
about this,' " she tells PEOPLE, in its latest cover
story. "For me, I really want to do something that is a
lifestyle, because in the past, I've been known to yo-yo
diet."
So, Simpson, who Tweeted "so excited to be part of the
Weight Watchers family" Wednesday, signed on to work
with Weight Watchers, a program she'd planned to do
before she learned she was pregnant. When she got the
good news, she stopped counting her points.
"I was like, 'I'm going to enjoy my pregnancy,' and I
did," she tells PEOPLE. "I ate very healthy, but I did
indulge some of my cravings – and that's okay because I
know I can work it off now."
While her doctor hasn't cleared her to go to the gym
yet, Simpson, who has yet to step on a scale, says she's
excited to get back into shape and that her friends are
going to do the program too, for support.
"There's not a goal weight – I just want to feel normal
and fixate on inches," she says. "I really want to set
small goals, so I'm constantly reaching goals and not
looking at something so far ahead."

Demi Lovato Goes Blonde for New
‘X Factor’
New job, new hair color! At the FOX upfronts in New York
City on Monday, Demi Lovato was announced as one of the
new X Factor judges — and debuted new blonde locks, too.
Before her trip to New York, the singer popped into West
Hollywood’s Nine Zero One Salon Friday night, where her
hair was transformed from brunette to blonde and blonde
extensions were added. According to a source, the
starlet said this is the lightest her hair has ever been
— and she wants to keep it this way for her upcoming
tour, which kicks off in Del Mar, Calif., next month.
Last year, Lovato tried red hair temporarily, going
blonde several months later and eventually returning to
her natural brunette hue.
At Monday’s upfronts — where Britney Spears (pictured in
a Stop Staring dress) was introduced as a new judge,
too, wearing a form-fitting Stop Staring mini — Lovato
expressed her excitement about the new job. “I am
totally stoked to be here,” she told the crowd. “I’m
excited to represent my generation and I’m ready to find
the winner.”
The X Factor, which also stars Simon Cowell and L.A.
Reid, returns to FOX later this year.

Jennifer Lopez is Headed For Heartbreak With Casper
Smart
Jennifer Lopez's much younger lover, Casper Smart, has
alerted his friends that he intends to dump the star by
the end of the summer, sources reveal to OK!.
The cocky 25-year-old dancer — who reportedly receives a
whopping $10,000 per week in pocket money — has promised
the smitten diva that he's up for wedding bells and
babies. But behind the scenes he's telling pals a
completely different story, insiders say.
"He sees Jennifer as a passport to the big time but says
he has no intention of staying with a woman who's
already 42," says one source who knows the couple. "Jen
isn't even his type."
Sources say Casper revealed his intentions to
compatriots on a recent trip home to Anaheim, Calif.,
where the chiseled playboy hails from.
And while the 17-year age difference is playing a part,
those close to the hunky hoofer and wannabe actor say
the media swarm surrounding J.Lo is really what's
driving his decision to drop the diva this summer.
"Listen, he had a blast in the early days, but now the
whole J.Lo circus is starting to wear him down," a pal
says. "He's completely over being a boy toy — it's
humiliating for him. He feels emasculated, and he can't
wait to be his own man again. It wouldn't be a surprise
if he does what he's threatening to do and finally dumps
her."
But those close to J.Lo say they can see through that,
and note that since he's been with the American Idol
judge, his main focus is to launch his movie career —
and is using J.Lo to make those dreams come true.

Motherhood Makes Beyoncé Feel 'More Beautiful Than Ever'
She's an entertainment force of nature, 16-time Grammy
winner, and beauty and style icon. But Beyoncé is
proudest of one title that also happens to be her most
recent: mommy to little Blue Ivy Carter.
"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've
given birth," says PEOPLE's 2012 World's Most Beautiful
Woman. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like
I had such a purpose on this earth."
The "Crazy in Love" singer, 30, and her husband of four
years, Jay-Z, 42, have gone gaga for Blue, born Jan. 7
in New York City. "She's just the cutest thing," gushes
Beyoncé, who croons one-of-a-kind tunes to her daughter
and professes to "love" changing diapers.
So who does her daughter most resemble? "She looks like
Blue," says Beyoncé, who is back to her pre-pregnancy
weight and gearing up for her first post-baby concerts,
Memorial Day weekend at the Revel Atlantic City. "She's
her own person."
"The best thing about having a daughter is having a true
legacy," she adds. "The word 'love' means something
completely different now."

Katy Perry Keeps the Coachella Partying Going Past 4
a.m.!
"Katy Perry Keeps the Coachella Partying Going Past 4
a.m.!"
Coming straight from a rainy M83 concert at Coachella,
Katy Perry arrived at 2 a.m. with six male pals at the
Hennessy V.S. Presents Details @ Midnight party.
A seemingly upbeat Perry, who showed off newly dyed
purple hair, ran inside the bash to dance and mingle
with the crowd. And a source tells us that her late
arrival kept the festivities going until 4 a.m. – past
the scheduled end time.
And a long night out didn't stop the pop star from
having enough energy to hit the party circuit the next
day; she made her way during the mid-afternoon to the
Lacoste L!ve Pool Party at a private home in Thermal,
Calif.

Jennifer Lopez Buys Casper Smart a Birthday Truck
Jennifer Lopez celebrated her dancer beau Casper Smart's
25th birthday on Friday with an intimate dinner party –
and quite a big surprise.
"Jennifer had planned a fun day to celebrate Casper's
birthday," a source tells PEOPLE. And the day began with
a four-wheeled birthday present: a customized white
Dodge Ram truck.
Lopez "knew that Casper really wanted a truck, and
Casper was very excited about the generous gift," says
the source.
Lopez also Tweeted: "@BEAUcasperSMART 'Beau has a

Birthday Beau ever has!' #singingtweet. HAPPY BIRTHDAY

After a shopping trip and lunch in Beverly Hills, the

The birthday boy even brought his present along for the
celebration. "Casper was so excited about his new truck
that he decided to drive it to dinner," adds the source.
"She was smiling about Casper's excitement."

Victoria Beckham ‘Screamed’ When She Saw Beyoncé in Her
Dress
Victoria Beckham has clothed mega-watt stars like
Michelle Williams and Eva Longoria in recent months. But
seeing Beyoncé step out in one of her creations last
week really put her over the edge.
“I was very excited when I saw it online,” Beckham told
Extra last Tuesday at the ASCAP Latin Music Awards in
Beverly Hills. “I screamed, and said, ‘Look, David,
look!’ She was one hot mama, for sure.”
Though Beckham admitted she still gets “so excited” when
she sees stars in her dresses, that Beyoncé moment
seemed to top them all. “It was big for me,” the
designer said. “She’s incredible, and also an artist
that I have so much respect for. I’m a huge, huge
Beyoncé fan.”
Beckham, whose namesake clothing line is drawing more
attention and critical acclaim as time goes on, said
she’s proud of herself — and of her team. “I’m really,
really overwhelmed with how well everything’s gone,” she
shared. “And I just want to make women feel good about
themselves. I want to empower women, make them feel
happy and confident and as long as women are out there
buying the dresses, I’m going to carry on doing what I
feel really truly blessed to do. I’m the luckiest girl
in the world, I really am.”
Yes, she really is; as dashing husband David stood
dutifully by her side during her Extra interview, all he
could do was smile at — and compliment — his wife. “She
always looks good,” he said, being sure to note her
self-designed strapless black gown, too. “It’s an
amazing dress, it looks amazing on her.”

Britney Spears in Negotiations with The X Factor
Last month, Simon Cowell played coy about the rumors
that pop princess Britney Spears may join The X Factor.
Now, sources say, it looks like the pairing may be more
than just a remote possibility.
"There have been talks" with Spears and her team, a
source close to the situation tells PEOPLE. "Anything is
possible." Reveals a second source: "I've heard they are
in negotiations."
Should Spears, 30, fill one of the open judge seats on
the reality competition, she'd likely slow the rampant
speculation about who will join the cast. (Janet Jackson
and Avril Lavigne have been rumored picks as well.)
"Are we flattered that there could be interest? Yes,"
Cowell told reporters on a conference call last month of
the Spears chatter. But he wouldn't confirm anything to
the press.
"I've learned a big lesson: Keep your mouth shut. Don't
give it all away."

Beyoncé Shows Off Baby Pictures at Robin Thicke's B-Day
Robin Thicke had some famous friends by his side as he
celebrated his 35th birthday party at Catch in New York
City. The R&B star and wife Paula Patton were joined by
Beyoncé and Jay-Z at the soiree.
It was a super-private bash, with only about 20 guests
attending. Thicke and his friends were blocked off by
security guards, as he didn't rent out the whole venue,
and they all enjoyed Armand de Brignac. He did, however,
treat fellow diners at the hip restaurant to some tunes,
playing deejay for the whole dining room from his iPod.
One VIP-only experience, courtesy new mom Beyoncé? The
singer showed off pictures of daughter Blue Ivy during
the three-hour dinner party.

Nick & Vanessa Lachey Expecting a Baby
There's a little Lachey on the way!
Vanessa Lachey (formerly Minnillo) is pregnant, her
husband Nick Lachey confirmed on Live! with Kelly, which
he co-hosted Monday. Vanessa is due late summer or early
fall.
After Vanessa appeared on the show in early January,
"she started to feel a little different, not herself,"
Nick, 38, explained. "So she went to the store, got a
pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So we are
having a baby!"
The giddy dad-to-be added: "I've had a chance to do a
lot of great things in my career and my life but this is
the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward
to. The fact that it's actually here, it's
overwhelming."
And while the couple doesn't yet know the sex of the
baby, they will – if Nick has anything to do with it.
"We definitely want to know," Lachey told Ripa. "I can't
take the knowledge that someone out there knows, but I
don't know. It's like watching a sports game on TiVo."
Vanessa, 31, has yet to comment, but she's previously
discussed her excitement to have a baby – and how a new
addition will fit into her life.
"I would love to have children and work," the Wipeout
commentator told PEOPLE in early 2011. "I definitely
don't want it to slow me down. I'm always going to be,
'Go, go, go.' And I'm going to be pregnant, fat and
happy through it all."
This will be the first child for Nick and Vanessa, who
were married in July 2011.

Selena Gomez Gets New Tattoo & Diamond Ring From Justin
Bieber: "It's Just For Fun"
When you're Selena Gomez and you get not only a new
tattoo but new diamond ring, there's some explaining to
do!
The 19-year-old star told Access Hollywood the new tat
on her right wrist is a nod to her love of music. Though
many people thought it was a heart at first, she begged
to differ. "It's a music note. Everybody thought that it
was a heart for some reason, but music is a big
influence in my life."
At the Fifth Annual Women in Film Pre-Oscar party in
L.A. yesterday, Selena added, "I was named after a
singer, I'm a singer and a lot of other personal
reasons. So that's what I got."
As for another new decoration on her hand? Well, that
would be a gift from Justin Bieber, a diamond-studded
ring in the shape of the letter "J!" Hmmm, we wonder if
this is pre-engagement ring bling? Putting that rumor
quickly to rest she pointed out, "No, no -- that's like
almost a friendship ring. It's just for fun."
The entertainment show even asked her to show off her
new ring. Selena immediately responded by saying, "No!
You'll see it in pictures!" She added, "I get nervous."

Adele Makes Obscene Gesture at Brit Music Awards
Warning, music fans: Adele just went M.I.A.
An angry Adele gave the middle finger at the Brit awards
for music Tuesday night in London, less than three weeks
after rapper M.I.A. gave the same obscene gesture at the
Super Bowl halftime show.
It happened as Adele, 23, was picking up the best album
award to go with her solo female honor and was giving
her acceptance speech.
"I am so proud to be British and to be flying the flag,"
she was saying when host James Cordon interrupted her to
introduce 90s British pop band Blur.
The crowd booed and Adele digitally expressed herself.
The multiple-Grammy winner explained that she wasn't
directing her scorn at the audience.
"I flung the middle finger. That was for the suits at
the Brit Awards, not my fans," she said, according to
the BBC. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone but the suits
offended me."
The moment put a damper on an otherwise shining night
for Adele, who kissed and cuddled with boyfriend Simon
Konecki throughout the ceremony.
She also showed no signs of her recent voice problems as
she brought the crowd to its feet with "Rolling in the
Deep."

Madonna Slams M.I.A.'s Middle Finger Stunt at Super Bowl
Sounds like M.I.A. made a very powerful enemy in
Madonna.
Backing up the pop legend alongside Nicki Minaj at last
Sunday's Super Bowl halftime show, the British/Sri
Lankan rapper nearly hijacked the spectacle when she
flipped her middle finger; the obscene gesture aired on
live TV as over 100 million viewers watched.
But this wasn't a provocative move planned in advance
with Madonna a la her infamous VMAs kiss with Britney
Spears. "I was really surprised. I didn't know anything
about it," Madonna, 53, told Ryan Seacrest Friday during
a radio chat for On Air With Ryan Seacrest. "I wasn't
happy about it."
Explained the singer, who invited M.I.A. (real name:
Mathangi Arulpragasamand) and Minaj to perform on "Gimme
All Your Luvin'," the lead single off her album MDNA: "I
understand it's punk rock and everything, but to me
there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and
positivity it seemed negative."
"It's such a teenager…irrelevant thing to do," she
sniped. "There was such a feeling of love and unity
there. What was the point? It was just out of place."
Besides, Madonna was nervous enough for her big moment
without M.I.A.'s unexpected gesture. Her most stressful
moments? "When my throne docked on the stage," she said
of her dramatic entrance. "Then getting my cartwheels on
the bleachers right."
By the time the 12-minute set concluded with "Like a
Prayer" (with Cee Lo Green singing alongside her), "I
was overwhelmed," she said. "I started crying. I felt an
incredible sense of warmth, love, and support. To see an
entire stadium light up like candles it was…like a
religious experience."

Madonna says she never planned "Wild" performance at
Super Bowl
Sorry, Joe Francis; Madonna won't give you a chance to
rake in a Super Bowl payday.
On Friday, David R. Houston, attorney for "Girls Gone
Wild" mogul Francis, sent Madonna a letter threatening
legal action if she performs her new song of the same
name at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday. The
letter was obtained by TMZ.
Houston told the singer, "our misappropriation of my
clients' trademark will not be tolerated" and accused
her of trying to take a "free ride" on "the valuable
consumer goodwill and brand recognition of my clients'
trademark." ("Girls Gone Wild?" Goodwill?)
Noting that Francis is "ready and willing to pursue
legal action," Houston is demanding that Madonna
"negotiate an immediate licensing agreement for use of
the Trademark" and pay Francis' attorney's fees in the
matter.
Oh, and he also insisted that the Material Mom promise
not to "perform or market the song at the Super Bowl
this Sunday."
As it turns out, Francis could have given his lawyer the
day off, because Madge doesn't plan to perform the song
-- and never did.
"The song will not be performed at Super Bowl halftime
show," Madonna's publicist told TheWrap. "It was never a
possibility. She has confirmed she will be performing
her new single and three of her gems from the past."
Her new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'," was released
Friday.
"Girls Gone Wild" is on Madonna's upcoming album "MDNA,"
which is scheduled for a March 26 release but went on
presale at iTunes on Friday.
In the letter, Houston said that his "research"
indicated that Madonna would be performing the song at
the Super Bowl.
Perhaps now Francis can get back to what he really
should be outraged about in Madonna's halftime show --
the singer's vow that there won't be any wardrobe
malfunctions this year.

Spice Girls Reuniting for Queen Elizabeth's Diamond
Jubilee
The biggest girl group of the '90s is making a comeback!
Spice Girls singer Melanie Brown revealed the band will
be reuniting this summer during a recent interview on
Australian TV -- but contrary to reports, it won't be
for the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.
"I think the Queen's Jubilee concert is the event I'd be
looking at more closely for that to happen," the
36-year-old said. Realizing she revealed too much, the
singer quickly changed the subject.
According to The Sun, Brown told TV crew members
backstage: "I am going to be in such strife for saying
that. It's all so totally bloody top-secret still."
The "Scary" musician and her bandmates -- Victoria
"Posh" Beckham, 37, Geri "Ginger" Halliwell, 39, Emma
"Baby" Bunton, 36, and Melanie "Sporty" Chisholm, 38 --
last performed together during a reunion tour that
kicked off in 2007.
"I'm always down for a Spice Girls reunion," Brown said.
"I love the Scary hair and platforms. Any time of day or
night I'll be there."
To mark 60 years of Queen Elizabeth II's reign, the
Diamond Jubilee will take place on June 4, 2012. The
group will perform in front of the royal family,
including Prince William, 29, and Kate Middleton, 30.

Jamie to free Britney as his wedding gift!
Britney Spears to regain control of her
finances for the first time in four years as wedding
gift from father.
She's well and truly back on the straight and narrow,
with a stable relationship and her life back on track.
And now it looks like Britney Spears is to finally
regain her life and finances officially.
Her father Jamie has been conservator of her affairs for
almost four years after her life spiralled out of
control in 2007.
A judge handed Jamie Spears control of the singer's
fortune and almost every other aspect of her life after
she had a public meltdown.
Fatherly love: Jamie Spears has helped the star get her
life back.
At the height of her problems Britney lost custody of
her children, Sean Preston, now six, and Jayden James,
now five, for a long spell which prompted an infamous
rant outside Kevin Federline's LA home, resulting in a
shaven-headed Britney rampaging with an umbrella.
But the now 30-year-old has put her two failed marriages
behind her, regained custody of her sons and moved on in
her love life with her former agent Jason.
Now her father is reportedly demanding a judge rescind
on the order to mark the pop star's complete turnaround.
A source tells the Sunday Express: 'Jamie wants to go to
court in early February so Britney will be a free woman
in every sense when she marries.'
And he's hoping the order will be dropped in time for
her nuptials, which are reportedly due to take place on
Valentine's Day on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
And the star is adamant she has managed to overcome her
personal struggles thanks to her father and the
conservatorship being forced upon her.
Last year a source told RadarOnline: 'Britney now
recognizes that if her father hadn't stepped in and
taken the action that he had, well.... Britney is now
crediting Jamie for saving her life
'Britney's relationship with her dad is in a very, very
good place now. She was extremely emotional backstage
before leaving for the VMAs and kept telling her daddy
how much she loves him.'
And back in August those in Britney's camp were hoping
for 2012 to be the year she regained control.
The source added: 'After Britney's tour concludes, which
will be at the end of this year, her doctors and
advisers are going to meet and confer about how much
longer the conservatorship should go on for.
'There is a very good chance that a decision could be
made to pull the plug in early 2012.
'It's likely that Britney's business affairs will still
remain under control of the conservatorship though, even
if they determine that she no longer needs it for
herself personally.

Justin Bieber Tells Fans:
"I'm Not A Robot. Let Me Piss"
Justin Bieber may love his fans, but his love doesn't
extend to the bathroom. The pop star took to his
Facebook and Twitter this week to tell Beliebers that
even though he cherishes them dearly, don't ask for his
picture when he's peeing!

Madonna Lashes Back at Ricky Gervais at the 2012 Golden
Globe Awards
Although Ricky Gervais' hosting gig was considerably
toned down at last night's Golden Globes, he did manage
to lash out at Madonna but apparently he didn't get the
memo. The Material Girl can certainly dish it right
back!
When Ricky introduced Madonna, he quipped, "Just like a
virgin." But perhaps it's what he didn't say but rather
did, that elicited a razor sharp retort from Madge. He
coughed in a sarcastic way as he said it.
Well, once she took the podium, you can imagine what she
did next!
"If I'm still just like a virgin, Ricky, then why don't
you come over here and do something about it?" Madonna
added, "I haven't kissed a girl in a few years — on TV."

Beyoncé & Jay-Z: 'We're In Heaven' with Baby Blue
Their careers are demanding, but Beyoncé and Jay-Z are
taking a moment to bask in the joys of becoming new
parents.
"We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful
daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7,
2012," the couple said, confirming the news in a joint
statement Monday. "Her birth was emotional and extremely
peaceful – we are in heaven."
"She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs.," the
statement adds, dispelling rumors that the birth was by
scheduled cesarean.
"It was the best experience of both of our lives,"
continue Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who has already released a
song devoted to his baby girl. "We are thankful to
everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and
support."
Following Knowles's highly publicized childbirth, rumors
swirled about special perks she received at New York
City's Lenox Hill Hospital, including having a floor to
herself.
"The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to
rent an entire maternity floor is simply not true,"
Lenox Hill Hospital Executive Director Frank Danza said
in a statement Monday.
"The family is housed in an executive suite at the
hospital and is being billed the standard rate for those
accommodations. Our executive suites are available for
any patient, including the food service and amenities
provided to the Carter family."
In response to reports that Beyoncé and Jay-Z's presence
has stopped visitors from being able to see relatives
and even disrupted a father's visit with his newborn
twins in the neonatal intensive care unit, Danza says
such stories are untrue.
"We have made every effort to ensure minimal disruption
to other families experiencing the births of their own
children over the past three days," he explains.
"No security plan that we or the Carters' security team
put in place would have prevented or delayed families
from gaining access to the NICU, and to date, no
families have complained to the hospital about being
denied access to the NICU."

Demi Lovato Talks "Brutal" Fights With Miley Cyrus
When Demi Lovato entered treatment in late 2010 to treat
"emotional and physical issues," the teen singer knew
she had the support of celeb BFFs Miley Cyrus and Selena
Gomez.
"No matter how many times we fight, we will always be in
each others' lives," Lovato, 19, tells the February
issue of Seventeen. "Miley and I are very strong-headed,
so when we fight, it's brutal and we're like, 'We're
never going to be friends again!' Then two days later,
we're like, 'I love you and I miss you!'"
Unlike her relationship with Cyrus, 19, Lovato says she
"never" fights with Gomez, also 19. "She's not a
confrontational person at all. Both of them will never
leave my life no matter what happens, because we've been
through so much together."
Cyrus and Gomez weren't the only stars to reach out to
Lovato while she was in rehab at Timberline Knolls.
"We're not super-close, but Taylor Swift tweeted 'Pray
for Demi,' which I thought was really awesome of her.
And Kim Kardashian, the busiest woman on the planet,
took time to call me."
The "Give Your Heart a Break" singer tells Seventeen
that Kardashian, 31, "was there for me when not many
people were. I could count on my hands how many people
were there for me. So the people who were, I didn't
forget it."
Now that she's been out of rehab for a full year, Lovato
says she feels "more confident, happy and healthy" than
ever before.
"I have so much to look forward to -- from little
everyday things, like where I'm going to go shopping
with my friends, to big things, like heading out on the
road [on tour], or even really long-term things, like
what my next big project will be."

"Born This Way," the New York City native, 25, worked

Later, Gaga helped NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg lower the
New Year's Eve ball wearing a Versace ensemble
accessorized by a jeweled mask that covered her entire

Taylor Swift Reveals Her Christmas Wish List
It seems as if Taylor Swift has it all -- a handful of
multiplatinum albums, a sold-out world tour, a
star-studded little black book -- but even she hopes to
find something special under her Christmas tree this
year.
"I want a pasta maker, antique picture frames, or
anything from Free People or Anthropologie," the
22-year-old singer tells Twist. In return, Swift plans
to give her friends "funny or thoughtful gifts based on
things they've said this year."
But for Swift, Christmas is about more than just giving
gifts -- it's about spending quality time with friends
and family.
"It's amazing to have us all together," she says. "To
have everyone back in Nashville for the holidays is one
of my favorite things about this time of year."
"My family and I always decorate a big Christmas tree
together and look at the ornaments Austin and I made
when we were kids," she adds. "It's so nostalgic,
looking back at all the Christmases past and comparing
them to how different our lives are now."
Rest assured, Swift hasn't forgotten about her fans this
holiday season.
"I hope that they're happy, wherever they are. I hope
that this holiday season, they feel loved by the people
around them," Swift tells Twist. "And most of all I hope
they feel appreciated by me. My life would look nothing
like this without them."

Jennifer Lopez Says Women Help Shape Her World
At the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in NYC, when
Jennifer Lopez received her award from Donatella
Versace, the American Idol judge gave a heartfelt speech
about the importance of strong women surrounding
themselves by other strong, loving women.
"I've had an incredible year, incredible couple years,
ups and some not so ups and the one thing that got me
through, was the women in my life - my mother, my
cousins, my friends, my sisters, all circling around
me," said Jennifer.
Her speech continued, "When I look around this room and
I think about how wonderful and beautiful it is to have
that in your life, it's the women in my life that help
me and shape me into the woman that I am today."
Recalling her grandmother who taught her how to cook and
be humble, to her mom who is a teacher and "worked
tirelessly and taught me discipline, taught me work
ethic," and even her second grade teacher who bought J.
Lo glitter on her day off, she gave props to her
daughter Emme as well who "inspires me every day to be a
better human being."
As school girls shouted, "I love you" from the balcony,
Jennifer gave them a shout out, too. "So, I just want to
say something to all the girls up there...I love you
guys...that's the most important lesson that they all
taught me is to take care of other women, support other
women....They will always be there. They will never
leave you. Those are the greatest loves of my life."

Jennifer Lopez Talks Relationships Amid Bradley Cooper
Romance
Jennifer thinks she's learned an important lesson after
her separation from Marc Anthony when it comes to
relationships.
“I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all.
You’ve got to love yourself first," she told Glamour.
"You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK
with somebody else. You’ve got to value yourself and
know that you’re worth everything. And until you value
yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that,
you can’t really have a healthy relationship.”
But it's possible J.Lo may have already learned to love
herself, because it seems a romance with Bradley has
been heating up!
When Glamour asked if Jennifer believed in the
possibility of having a new relationship out of the
public eye she said, “I think to give something a
chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do
it out of the public eye. You know the media — they want
to rush everything.”
Well, Jennifer and Bradley haven't avoided the public
eye and still appear to be flourishing!

Taylor Swift: I Don't Want an Endless String of
Boyfriends
The country singer is just fine being single, and says
she's extremely single at the moment.
"I don't have a boyfriend," Swift, 21, says in an
interview airing Wednesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"I don't even have, like, kind of a boyfriend. I don't
have someone that I'm texting that is a guy that someday
might be my boyfriend. There's like nothing going on
right now."
That hasn't always been the case. Over the years, the
singer has been linked to Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal,
John Mayer and Taylor Lautner. But she's okay spending
time alone, too.
"You have to be okay with it," she says. "If you're the
girl that needs a boyfriend, and once she loses that
boyfriend needs to replace it with a different
boyfriend, it's just this constant stream of boyfriends
all the time. I don't feel like I ever want to be that
girl."
She'd just like it to be more special than that, adding:
"I want to be the girl that when she falls in love, it's
a big deal and it's a rare thing."

Watch Lady Gaga
Performance |
Lady Gaga’s Marilyn Monroe moment
Lady Gaga performed at "A Decade of Difference" concert
and channeled her best Marilyn Monroe. Appearing onstage
atop a tree house, the superstar rocked the tousled
trademark blonde hair, red lips, and oversized glasses
of the movie star.
Sitting at the piano in a tan gown, she purred "Happy
Birthday" to President Clinton, who is celebrating his
65th, before she belted out "Born This Way." In her
tribute to the actress, who sang for President Kennedy,
she told the audience, "I always wanted a Marilyn moment
-- but didn't want it to involve pills and pearls."
But he was warned: Bill Clinton admitted that when he
invited Lady Gaga, she told him her idea. The president,
who had a quadruple bypass in 2004, joked, "I got
nervous when Gaga said she was planning to have a
Marilyn moment and I thought 'I will have a heart attack
for my 65th birthday.'"
Instead of a Marilyn moment, what fans got was pure
Gaga. The megastar changed the words of "Bad Romance" to
"Bill Romance." To the surprise of the president, his
wife, and his daughter, the singer proceeded to strip
off her dress to reveal a tan body suit underneath --
and serenade the president, who was sitting just a few
feet away from the dance diva. But the Lady won over the
former First Family, who were caught up in the
performance, dancing to the beat.
Before the end of her set, Lady Gaga had one last trick
up her sleeve. The quick-change artist added one last
shocker: a jacket that made her look topless. As Lady
Gaga made it clear, nobody can top that.

Justin Bieber Says He’s “In Love” With Selena Gomez:
“She’s Hot & Makes Me Laugh”
Justin Bieber is head over heels in love with Selena
Gomez. The 17-year-old singing sensation gave his most
candid interview to date about his budding relationship
with the 19-year-old brunette bombshell, opening up to
New! magazine about what makes her so great.
Justin reveals that he is “in love” with Selena!
“I wouldn’t be with somebody if I wasn’t in love,” JB
confessed to New! magazine, via MTV UK.
“Everybody can see she is hot and that’s great, but
there is so much more to her than that,” he added. “She
makes me laugh and she puts up with my practical jokes.”
Justin also explained that having a similar family
background to Selena helped build a strong foundation
for their relationship.
“We were both raised by our moms in single-parent
households, and that’s given us a lot of the same family
values in life.”

Spice Girls' Mel C Opens Up
Being labeled Sporty Spice was both a blessing and a
curse for Melanie Chisholm.
In a new interview with The UK's Daily Mail, the
37-year-old singer explains how being in the spotlight
caused her to become both depressed and bulimic.
"Being in the Spice Girls was amazing, but also very
tough," Chisholm admits. "I was young and
impressionable, and I found it hard to read about
myself."
"The tabloids were cruel about my appearance, and
nothing can prepare you for that," the singer explains.
"You just have to fight your way through it."
Chisholm says "there were a lot of lies printed" about
her during the band's heyday, and tabloids often
referred to her as "gobby" and "masculine." Inevitably,
that prompted "questions about my sexuality."
(The singer, who welcomed daughter Scarlet in February
2009, identifies as straight. She has been dating
property developer Thomas Starr since 2002.)
These days, Sporty Spice says she's in a much better
place. "When I see Scarlet playing her toy guitar and
singing along, it reminds me of my own childhood,"
Chisholm says. "My mum sang in a band and my stepdad
played bass. There were always musicians in the house.
It was a happy time."
Though Chisholm recently released her fifth solo album,
she hinted the Spice Girls may reunite to perform at the
2012 Olympics in London.
"Our last tour was amazing," she says. "It rekindled old
friendships and made me appreciate the other girls
again. The Olympics would be brilliant, but I don't know
the truth. I'd love to do something, but it would have
to involve all five of us."

Justin Bieber Takes Selena Gomez on 'Titanic' Date
Justin Bieber is the romance king of the world!
After spending the day at the beach together on Friday,
the singer took girlfriend Selena Gomez on a super-sized
date that she's not likely to forget.
After catching their pal Demi Lovato in concert at the
Nokia Theater, the couple then headed next door to
L.A.'s Staples Center, where they watched the
tear-jerking romance Titanic ... alone.
Bieber, according to TMZ, rented out the entire arena so
he and Gomez, 19, could watch Kate Winslet and Leonardo
DiCaprio in the Oscar-winning classic.
But Bieber, 17, didn't have to pay for it! The Staples
Center's management reportedly allowed him the arena,
which was available for the night, for free because
Bieber has sold out the place three times. (Just don't
tell Gomez!)
"Romance isn't dead," Bieber Tweeted Friday. "Treat your
lady right fellas."

Demi Lovato: I Finally Feel Like a Role Model
By now, it's no secret that Demi Lovato has been to hell
and back. The 18-year-old singer has been open about her
struggles with cutting, eating disorders and depression,
and she hopes her journey will inspire others to tackle
their own issues as well.
"To me, it's more rewarding for me to speak about these
issues and know that I'm possibly making a difference in
someone's life," she tells The Associated Press. "I feel
like I'm held more accountable to stay healthy now
because now I'm a role model to young girls to not have
eating issues and to not say, 'Hey, it's OK to starve
yourself' or 'It's OK to throw up after your meals.'
That's not OK."
The "Skyscraper" singer, who is still in therapy, admits
that it's a "daily battle" to stay on the straight and
narrow.
"I check in with many, many people every single day,"
Lovato says. "I have a very strong treatment team and
it's actually kind of overwhelming sometimes to have
that many people just focused on you and your problems."
One thing Lovato doesn't have to worry about? People in
her team sweeping her issues under the rug.
"Now I have people around me that at the sign of
anything, they say something and they speak up and they
are no longer afraid to say, 'Hey, maybe you shouldn't
be doing this' because they're afraid of losing their
job," the singer -- who released her third album,
Unbroken, on Tuesday -- says.
"I think that's what goes wrong in a lot of people's
careers, so many people are afraid to say, 'This person
has a problem' or 'This person maybe shouldn't do this'
because they're afraid of losing their jobs," Lovato
adds.

Beyoncé: Pregnancy Is 'the Most Incredible Gift'
Beyoncé Knowles can't hold back when it comes to
expressing her pregnancy joy.
After showing off her baby bump at the MTV Music Awards
and later saying she feels "very empowered," the pop
diva, 30, now says she's "so happy to be a woman."
"[Pregnancy] is the most incredible gift anyone can
have," Knowles told E! News. "I'm very excited. I'm
probably the happiest I've ever been."
And should her baby-on-the-way (with husband Jay-Z) be
inclined to follow in mom and dad's footsteps, he or she
has already got quite a head start.
"I've been performing the whole time and dancing and
singing in the studio," Knowles says. "I think my baby
has heard lots and lots of very loud music."

Britney Spears Brandishes Gun in "Criminal" Video
Britney Spears knows how to keep her boyfriend in line.
Showing off her sexy legs in a pair of tight leather
shorts, the 29-year-old pop star filmed scenes for her
"Criminal" music video in London Monday. Wielding a
pistol, Spears was joined by her real-life beau Jason
Trawick, who donned a black ski mask for his first
cameo.
In one scene, Spears and Trawick rob a grocery store
together.
"I've never shot on location out of the country of
America for a video, so it should be really
interesting," Spears told AOL before the shoot. "It was
partly my idea, and they were like, 'Yeah, it's a great
idea,' so we did it."
The singer is currently overseas to perform throughout
Europe, with stops in France, Germany, Belgium,
Switzerland and Denmark.

Lady Gaga Goes From Penis Stilettos to Fan-Faced
Footwear
Lady Gaga never ceases to amaze with her crazy footwear
couture, but her latest statement was more sweet than
shocking. Mother monster who was censored by Fox for
wearing penis stilettos on American Idol earlier this
year showed off a new footwear trend, wearing faces of
fans on her mega-platforms.
While chatted with E! News’ Giuliana Rancic about her
Viva Glam Campaign with M.A.C., the host couldn’t help
but to comment on her “amazing” shoes.
“I guess about a foot, maybe more, they have the fans’
faces on them,” Gaga said when asked how high the
platforms were.
Definitely a sweet sentiment behind the fan portraits on
Gaga’s feet.
Gaga also spoke about her alter ego Jo Calderone’s
return to the spotlight.
“I don’t know how soon, but I’m sure Jo will want to
perform again,” Gaga said. “I don’t think he can help
himself really.”
Gaga made headlines earlier this week for a very
revealing and public wardrobe malfunction.
Unfortunately, Gaga wasn’t wearing any undies while out
in NYC, showing her lady parts to the world when the
slit of her red dress moved from one side to the center
of her body.
The moment was capture by paparazzi, revealing her
genital piercing to the world.

Justin Bieber: I Want to Be Married By 25
Justin Bieber is just 17, but he's already
marriage-minded.
When asked by Women's Wear Daily where he sees himself
in five years, the teen sensation didn't mince words.
"Well, by 25 or 26, I want to see myself, like, married
or start looking for a family," Bieber says. "I want to
be a young dad. I want to be able to have done what I
wanted to do – to be successful, to do a movie or
whatever."
But those with Bieber fever should still cool out for
the moment.
"One thing," he adds. "I'm not looking to get married
now."
One person who can't be ruled out as his future spouse
is current love Selena Gomez, whom Bieber calls
"amazing."
"She's my girlfriend right now," he confirms to the
magazine.
He also points out that even as he thinks about the
future, he still acts like a teenager.
"I love to play sports and stuff," he says. "I love just
hanging out with my friends. I'm just a regular
17-year-old. I grew up playing hockey so I like to get
on the ice every once in a while. I love to play
basketball and I try to play soccer as much as I can."

It's been a week of momentous occasions for Beyoncé
Knowles.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z Expecting a Baby
Leave it to Beyoncé to steal the spotlight at Sunday's
Video Music Awards.
But it wasn't one of the pop diva's signature
show-stopping performances that had people talking.
Instead, it was Beyoncé's burgeoning belly bump, swathed
in an orange gown.
Beyoncé, 29, posed for photos with her hands cradling
her belly, teasing, "I have a surprise!"
"I'm happy to say it's true," her rep confirms to
PEOPLE.
"They told friends in the last month," a source tells
PEOPLE. "She's never been happier. Seriously it's all
she's been waiting for. And Jay is like an excited kid.
They're adorable."
This will be the first child for Beyoncé and her husband
of three years, 41-year-old Jay-Z, who performed "Otis"
at the VMAs with Kanye West.
Just in June, Knowles, who turns 30 on Sept. 4, and told
Piers Morgan, "I always said I would have a baby at 30."

Selena Gomez Asks Fans For Help With New Fragrance
Singing starlet Selena Gomez is turning to fans this
fall to help her find the right notes -- of her new
fragrance!
The 19-year-old "Love You Like a Love Song" singer
announced last month that she was in the process of
working on her first signature scent. But since her fans
are the ones who will be spritzing the fragrant mix, she
wants to ensure that they get a say.
According to Women's Wear Daily, "her fans will be
invited to log on to selenagomezperfumes.com later this
fall to vote on accords and ingredients they prefer for
the fragrance. The most popular notes will be
incorporated into the finished scent. The first 50,000
participants will receive a free sample of the fragrance
and will be entered into a drawing to win a tour of the
fragrance lab with Gomez."
"I am excited to make my own fragrance that is romantic,
rich and sweet," Gomez told WWD. "I wanted to make a
fragrance that is able to make my fans feel special."
Although the final potion has yet to be decided, some
may wonder if it will layer nicely with Gomez's
boyfriend Justin Bieber's record-breaking Someday scent.

Jennifer Lopez: I Was Worn Down at End of Idol
There was a point last season when Jennifer Lopez didn't
know whether she would return to American Idol.
"I got a little bit tired at the end with everything
going on in my life at the time," says Lopez, whose
split with husband Marc Anthony was announced less than
two months after the finale.
But at a news conference in Savannah, Ga., where the
show is taping, Lopez told reporters that she realized
Idol was "one of the best things I've ever been involved
with" and that she enjoyed working with the contestants
as well as fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler
and host Ryan Seacrest.
"I was like 'OK I'm gonna do it again,'" she says.
Earlier this month, producer Nigel Lythgoe had made it
official, announcing that Lopez was coming back for a
second season.

Joe Jonas Celebrates His Birthday Early in Las Vegas
Joe Jonas got a jumpstart on his 22nd birthday
celebrations in Las Vegas – in a big way.
Starting off Saturday, Jonas, whose actual birthday is
Aug. 15, caused a splash at Liquid Pool Lounge when he
spent the afternoon poolside in a VIP cabana with pals.
"Female fans surrounded the area, trying to get a
glimpse of [Joe] in his bathing suit," a source tells
PEOPLE.
Following his fun in the sun, Jonas and his entourage
then headed to the Bellagio Hotel where they were
treated to a meal from Akira Back, the executive chef at
Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge.
After dinner, Jonas and friends made a quick stop at
Deuce Lounge, where they played blackjack – and drew
another crowd.
"Joe was swarmed by nearly 20 female fans dying to get
an autograph or photo with [him]," the source says.
"After signing a few autographs and meeting with fans,
Joe finally made it to Haze Nightclub where he rocked
the crowd with a special live set, performing tracks off
of his debut solo album FastLife."
"It's a coming-of-age record," Jonas told PEOPLE at the
event. "I want to present it to people my age – a little
bit older."
The performance, which ended at around 2:30 a.m., left
Jonas, who will soon join Britney Spears on her European
tour, in the VIP area where he was "chatting with a bevy
of beautiful girls." He also received a special
keyboard-shaped birthday cake.
"Girls were pushing to get near him," another source
says. "He was definitely loving the attention."

Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony Together Again in
Hamptons
The backseat of a red Mustang convertible cushioned the
reunion of the recently split couple Jennifer Lopez and
Marc Anthony, who on Wednesday were seen together in the
snazzy vehicle near Sagg Main Beach in Southampton, N.Y.
The sighting (TMZ has the pic) – which instantly raised
questions about the status of the estranged duo's
relationship – comes nearly a month after Lopez and
Anthony announced exclusively to PEOPLE, "We have
decided to end our marriage" after seven years.
Only a reconciliation apparently wasn't the reason for
the Hamptons get-together. "The intention was to spend
time with his kids Emme and Max, and they had a
beautiful time. He's been with Max and Emme a few times
now," Anthony's rep tells PEOPLE.
In addition to his twins with Lopez, 3-year-old Max and
Emme, Anthony is father to three older children from
previous relationships.
This week also brought the news that Lopez is returning
to American Idol next season.

Taylor Swift Reunites With Exes Taylor Lautner & Joe
Jonas at TCAs; Wins Five Surfboards
Taylor Swift made her first ever appearance at the Teen
Choice Awards last night, and it was no surprise that
she was one of the evening’s biggest winners. The
22-year-old singing sensation won five surfboards,
including the Ultimate Choice Award, an honor marking
teen voters’ all-time favorite star! And of course the
country princess was as gracious as ever during her
acceptance speeches.
Taylor’s close pal Emma Stone presented her with the
Ultimate Choice Award, and she mentioned Taylor’s career
highlights including 20 million albums sold.
Hearing this accomplishment, Taylor raised both fists in
the air and cheered from her seat.
Before accepting the award, Taylor made sure to hug BFF
Selena Gomez who was sitting on one side of her and gal
pal Ashley Greene who was sitting on the other side. She
also gave Justin Bieber a warm embrace before taking the
stage to thank her fans.
“I’m so honored that you so passionately chose to give
me this award,” Taylor gushed. “Thank you so much.”
Amid all of her award excitement, Taylor also bonded
with her ex-boyfriends Taylor Lautner and Joe Jonas!
After her wins, Taylor chatted with reporters backstage
about some advice she has for her teenage fans.
“I think the best advice that I ever got as a teenager
was to think about your actions, because if you are 80
years old looking back, you know if your dad calls you
at 8 in the morning and wants to go to breakfast, as a
teenager you are like, ‘No I want to sleep,’ and as an
80-year-old looking back, you go to breakfast with your
dad,” she shared. “It’s just those little decisions like
that.”
Taylor also opened up about what genre of music she has
been listening to most lately.
“Right now I am really going through a Beach Boys phase
and listening to like Beach Boys and the Sharones and
like all kinds of 50s and 60s music,” she shared.

Justin Bieber Calls Girlfriend Selena Gomez the “Girl
Next Door”
Justin Bieber can’t say enough positive things about his
leading lady Selena Gomez. The teen dream couple
displayed their love all over the Teen Choice Awards
Sunday night, and Justin raved about Selena and her mass
appeal.
“Best performance of the night, Selena Gomez,” Justin
told MTV News on the TCA blue carpet, predicting Selena
would stun with her performance of “Love You Like a Love
Song” — and she did just that! (Justin even sang along
with Taylor Swift during the performance!)
Selena even took home an award for the ditty with her
band The Scene for Choice Love Song; she also won the
awards for Choice Female Hottie, Choice TV Actress
Comedy, Choice Music Group and Choice Music Single, for
“Who Says”!
Why is Selena the current “it” girl? Just ask The Bieb.
“I feel like she’s relatable to a lot of different
teenagers,” he gushed to MTV. “She’s kind of
girl-next-door; she’s real cool. She’s very nice… she’s
a very nice girl.”
Justin took home surfboards for Choice Male Artist,

Jennifer Lopez 'Very Happy' Celebrating Birthday in
Miami
Fresh from her split with husband Marc Anthony, Jennifer
Lopez, who turns 42 on Sunday, is living it up in Miami
to celebrate her birthday.
On Saturday night, Lopez and her entourage of 16 – which
included her mother, sister, manager and stylist –
enjoyed a lavish dinner at Scott Conant's restaurant,
Scarpetta, inside the Fontainebleau hotel.
With a view of the ocean, the group indulged in a menu
of authentic Italian dishes, including spaghetti with
tomato and basil, foie gras ravioli and polenta.
"Jennifer looked radiant in a purple and silver evening
dress," a source tells PEOPLE. "And when they brought
out her birthday cake after the meal, she began to sing.
She was very happy. The whole group had a blast, staying
for hours. They closed down the restaurant."
Earlier in the day, Lopez worked up an appetite with a
shopping spree, visiting the high-end boutiques at Bal
Harbour Shops just north of South Beach. She bought
several baby outfits for her 3-year-old twins, Emme and
Max, at Bonpoint of Paris, and shopped at Hermes, Dolce
& Gabbana, Valentino and Pucci.
On Friday night, after swimming in her condo pool with
friends and family, including little Emme, Lopez and
seven others enjoyed a pre-birthday dinner at the Wine
Cellar of the Forge on Miami Beach, a favorite spot
where she has dined with Anthony.
"Jennifer and her group arrived around 9 p.m. and went
directly to the private wine cellar for a pre-birthday
dinner," a source tells PEOPLE. "It was very secluded
and beautiful among the bottles with bold and vibrant
labels. The meal was served on a long rectangle mirrored
table with cloud-like chandeliers hanging above."
According to the source, Lopez, who wore a long,
brightly colored geometric patterned dress, was in great
spirits. "She was chatty and charming," the source says.
For a surprise, the Forge's pastry chef created a
special chocolate soufflé. It was presented to Lopez
shortly after their meal, which started with appetizers
of lobster peanut butter and jelly, a Forge specialty.
"Jennifer absolutely loved it," the source tells PEOPLE.
"When the waiters brought the soufflé, they sang 'Happy
Birthday' to her while pouring everyone a crystal goblet
of champagne."

at this time."

Justin Timberlake: I'm No
Expert on Love
He's wooed women from Britney Spears to Jessica Biel,
but Justin Timberlake won't be adding "dating guru" to
his rapidly expanding resumé any time soon.
"I should not give anybody love advice," the newly
single singer-actor, 30, who announced his split from
Biel in March, told PEOPLE at Monday's Friends with
Benefits premiere in New York. "Yeah, listen to a single
male – yeah, that will work out."
Expertise aside, Timberlake says he is dating again. His
latest contender? Cpl. Kelsey De Santis, who asked him
via YouTube to accompany her to the Marine Corps Ball in
Washington, D.C.
Timberlake said he has yet to meet or even speak with
his date, but he is committed to attending the Nov. 12
dance. "I'm still trying to work out my schedule to make
it happen for her, but I was flattered," he says. "And
honestly, I will do everything I can to make it."
Another marine also publicly courted Timberlake's
costar, Mila Kunis, 27, to attend the event in
Greenville, N.C. – and she plans on accompanying Sgt.
Scott Moore.
As child stars, both Kunis and Timberlake missed an
important high-school event, so Kunis is especially
delighted to go to this formal dance.
"I didn't go [to my high-school prom]. I went to a
semiformal that wasn't at my school," she said. "So I'm
definitely excited."

Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Sport Matching Outfits At
ESPYs
Teen heartthrobs Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez got cozy
at the 2011 ESPY Awards in L.A. on Wednesday. The
couple, who have sported complementing ensembles before
at the 2011 Academy Awards, were both clad in
head-to-toe black.
On the Nokia Theatre red carpet, Bieber donned a
button-up oxford shirt underneath a glittery V-neck
sweater and paired the monotone getup with black pants
and eye-catching studded sneakers.
The 17-year-old singer presented the Best Team award
alongside racing star Danica Patrick. On stage, the pop
star paid homage to Patrick's sport and wore a
personalized NASCAR racing suit.
Gomez, 18, didn't walk the red carpet but sat next to
Bieber in the audience. The "Who Says" singer wore a

How Harper Seven Beckham Got Her Name
David and Victoria Beckham are spending quiet family
time together welcoming their new arrival – and first
baby girl – Harper Seven Beckham, and relishing their
privacy, a rep for the couple tells PEOPLE.
But the question lingers: How did the parents of three
boys – Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8½, and Cruz, 6½ – ever
arrive at the name Harper, let alone Seven?
It may not be as complicated as you think. Harper is an
old English name that Victoria has always loved, PEOPLE
has learned, and seven is considered a very lucky
spiritual number.
In addition, Harper Seven was born Sunday morning in
L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center weighing 7 lbs. (and
10 oz.) in the seventh hour in the seventh month – on
the seventh day of the week.
As sports fans can't help but also note, seven was
David's jersey number for Manchester United and the
English national team.
Speaking of numbers, the Irish bookmaking firm of Paddy
Power has offered odds of 100:1 on Harper's following in
dad’s footsteps and going out for the England Women’s
team. The odds of her becoming a singer in the mode of
her former Spice Girl mom are 16:1.

Jessica Simpson’s Newest
Fragrance Is Inspired by Love
Jessica Simpson is no stranger to falling under love’s
intoxicating spell, and the feeling is so great, she
wanted to bottle it!
So the fashion mogul created a new fragrance, I Fancy
You, designed to conjure up memories of discovering what
it means to be in love.
“I am so excited to introduce my fourth and final
fragrance of the Fancy Collection, I Fancy You,” Simpson
said in a statement, referencing the theme of amour
found in her perfumes.
“This floral scent is romantic and feminine and conjures
up the feelings of a first love that makes you realize
that love can last forever … I Fancy You!”
The fragrance, a collaboration between Simpson and
perfumer Cécile Hua of MANE, is a soft, velvety floral
musk with notes of juicy pear, savory Fuji apple and
bergamot orange.
Simpson stuck with the romance motif right down to the
bottle design, choosing a pale blue capsule with tiny
hearts, inspired by a vintage fragrance bottle in her
personal collection.

Justin Timberlake Can't Play Sports
He can hold his own on stage and screen, but Justin
Timberlake should probably stay away from basketball
courts. And wrestling rings.
The singer-actor, 30, shows off his athletic – and comic
– side in a promotional video for ESPN's July 13 ESPY
Awards, which honors the finest and fittest in sports.
"That was yours," Timberlake, who played host at the
2008 ceremony, wisecracks in the video when he misses a
lob during a game of volleyball.
His sportsmanship fails – but comedic victories
continue: He wears a cape to a wrestling match, uses his
field hockey stick as a dancing cane and pleads with his
swim team mates as he's about to hit the diving board,
"Hey, don't look at my butt."
At next week's ESPYs, Timberlake will present the
Capital One Cup, which recognizes top college athletes.
And go ahead and look at his butt.

Britney Spears break from her Femme Fatale!
She's usually the one performing, but Britney Spears
took a break from her Femme Fatale tour for some
entertainment with beau Jason Trawick and her boys,
Preston and Jayden. The pop star caught dance crew
Jabbawockeez's show MUS.I.C. at Las Vegas's Monte Carlo
Resort and Casino. Laughing and cheering with the rest
of the audience, Spears seemed to thoroughly enjoy the
show and even bounced in her seat to Beyoncé's "Single
Ladies (Put a Ring on It)." On her way out, the pop star
also scored some goodie bags.
Meanwhile, at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire Gwyneth
Paltrow cheered from a VIP area as her pal Beyoncé tore
through a powerhouse set while celebrating her new
album, 4. Guests, including a recovering Adele and
Stella McCartney, sipped Belvedere cocktails as they
watched the concert, which featured a mix of covers and
new songs, at the intimate venue.
A very happy, relaxed and pregnant Jessica Alba lunched
with a female friend at O! Burger in West Hollywood. On
the menu? An organic, grass-fed patty with Thousand
Island dressing, lettuce and tomato, which she washed
down with an iced tea. Alba and her friend sat on the
patio. "She was glowing," an onlooker says, "and so full
of energy."

Justin Bieber’s Male “Attacker” Was an Undercover Cop,
Report Says
Turns out Justin Bieber‘s male attacker — who reportedly
knocked the 17-year-old teen dream to the ground this
morning outside his fragrance event at Macy’s Herald
Square in NYC — was only trying to protect him as the
man is now being reported as an undercover cop.
When Justin was greeting his fans outside of the event,
the crowd reportedly became a little bit aggressive and
an undercover cop went to help him, TMZ reports.
But Bieber allegedly didn’t know the man, who was
dressed as a civilian, was a police officer and thought
he was a crazed fan, which reportedly made him
defensive.
Then a member of Justin’s security team grabbed the cop
away from JB.
TMZ reports that after the cop identified himself he
then “cited” the security team member for “disorderly
conduct.”
Luckily, everything was straightened out and there are
reportedly no hard feelings.

Britney Spears Defeat the Paparazzi in “I Wanna Go”
Music Video!
Britney Spears has delivered another strong music video,
for her hip-moving, dance floor hit “I Wanna Go.” The
pop princess takes a strong stance against the paparazzi
who plague her existence in the clip and shows off her
toned abs, along with some fun pink punk streaks in her
blonde locks!
“Find out all the answers to your burning questions
right here in the #IWannaGo video. I LOVE it & hope you
do too. -Brit” she Tweeted today, along with the new
four-and-a-half minute clip.
The video opens with Britney sitting through a press
conference, where reporters ask outlandish questions
like, “Is it true you banned junk food, smiles, candy,
sunshine and laughter from your Femme Fatale Tour?” and
“Can you confirm reports that you’re pregnant with Brad
Pitt’s love child?”
She answers sarcastically to the second: “That is false:
It’s quintuplets.”
Brit gets so annoyed with the bombardment of ridiculous
questions that she lashes out with a “F— you” to the
reporters.
But, luckily she has one guy on her side — Weeds and
Half Baked star Guillermo Diaz, who becomes her
companion.
Then Brit takes to the streets to defend her honor.
At one point, Brit stands on a yellow cab, paparazzi
surround her from all angles and she whips her
microphone around as a weapon, knocking the paps from
their predatory spots.
Brit wears a cut-off T-shirt with the image of a skull
Mickey Mouse ears, from her single’s cover art, as she
sings, “Lately I’ve been stuck imaginin’/ What I wanna
do and what I really think, time to blow out/ Be a
little inappropriate ’cause I know that everybody’s/
Thinkin’ it when the lights out/ Shame on me/ To need
release/ Un-uncontrollably.”
At the end of video, Brit returns to the press
conference, where she awakes from the daydream and says,
“Guillermo, I had the strangest dream.”
“I love dreams,” he tells her. “And seashells,” he says,
as he puts some in her hand. “Come on, let’s get out of
here.” The video was directed by Chris Marrs Piliero.

Jon Bon Jovi on Crutches After Strain
Jon Bon Jovi is unstoppable! During Bon Jovi's concert
at Olympic Stadium in Helsinki, Finland Friday, Jon, 49,
suffered an MCL strain. The injury occurred an hour into
the band's nearly three-hour set, but neither the
incident nor the torrential downpour could keep the
rocker from finishing the sold-out show.
"Fans need not worry -- Jon is in good health and future
shows will not be affected," Matt Bongiovi, co-CEO of
Backstage With Jon Bon Jovi Fan Club, informed the
band's nearly 13 million Facebook fans.
Jon is currently on crutches while he recovers; Bon Jovi
will headline Hard Rock Calling next weekend in London.

Selena Gomez: I Make Mistakes
All the Time
Selena Gomez never planned on being a role model. But
after finding fame at an early age, the 18-year-old
actress and singer has learned to embrace it.
"I never really said I want to be a role model. But then
when it happened I was so down for it," Gomez says on
the upcoming E! Entertainment Special: Selena Gomez,
which will premiere June 29. "I'm human, I'm not
perfect. I make mistakes all the time, but I guess my
job is to keep those mistakes to myself, which I'm
already fine doing and just try to be the best I can be
for those kids."
The pop star recently hit a rough patch when she had to
miss an appearance after being hospitalized due to
malnourishment and exhaustion, but she returned to the
stage days later to the delight of her fans.
While the Texas-born beauty has enjoyed much success at
a young age, she didn't have an easy childhood and she
struggled with her parents' divorce.
"I wanted a family so bad. I wanted to have my dad and
my mom together. So it was really, it was really hard,"
she says.
While Gomez, whose high-profile romance with Justin
Bieber has made headlines, seems comfortable in the
limelight, she says it's easy to get caught up in the
fame.
"This is a very superficial job," Gomez says. "I sit in
a chair for two hours and get hair and makeup done and
talk about [myself] in interviews. That's a very vain
thing to do. And I do get caught up in it sometimes."

Britney Spears Earns Raves for Femme Fatale Tour Opener
Britney Spears tweeted ahead of her Femme Fatale kickoff
concert in Sacramento, Calif. Thursday.
And according to to multiple reviews, the pop star
didn't disappoint. Performing a mix of her greatest hits
("Toxic" and "I'm a Slave 4 U") and new songs ("Big Fat
Bass" and "I Wanna Go"), Spears, 29, dazzled in a series
of skimpy stage costumes during the sold-out show.
Describing it as "her flashiest, fastest moving, and
most entertaining production yet," Rolling Stone said
that while tour-opener Nicki Minaj, 26, brought her
A-game, "the night belonged to Britney: She managed to
prove that she's still progressing as a showgirl. Not
only that, she's doing it better than even die-hard
defenders would've predicted."
Pink Is the New Blog also praised the "Hold It Against
Me" singer, pointing out that "there are parts of the
show where it is very obvious that she is singing, and
she sounded fantastic. As for the dancing, well, it
seems that Spears has really stepped up her game in that
department as well."
The Sacramento Bee wrote that while "Spears performed
like a pro throughout the show, hitting all her marks,
she had shown hesitancy in her movements -- natural for
the first stop on a tour. But that hesitancy vanished
when she put on the denim. She seemed at ease."
As for Spears' take on the night? "Can't sleep. Way too
much adrenaline right now," she tweeted after the show.
"Sacramento was on fire tonight. You ready San Jose?
Cause I am!"

Selena Gomez Goes Blonde for ‘Billboard’ Cover & Says
She Admires Shia LaBeouf’s Career
Selena Gomez is working hard on expanding her career now
that she’s moved on from Wizards of Waverly Place and
there’s one actor she’d love emulate — Shia Labeouf.
The 18-year-old singer/Monte Carlo actress/Justin
Bieber‘s girlfriend covers the new issue of Billboard
and discusses her career of being both an actress and
singer.
“It’s obviously an important phase in my career, and
personally,” Selena tells Billboard. “The good news is I
have been juggling acting and singing for two-and-a-half
to three years. But I have to start over in some areas.
It’s interesting to start taking risks, to grow up
through my music.”
And she has an actor whose career she looks up to.
“[Shia LaBeouf]. He did it really well,” she says. “He’s
talented and doing wonderful things. Everybody has their
own vision of how they want things to play out …
Eventually I hope to make a record in Spanish. I don’t
do anything that’s not organic.”
And Selena is trying to accept what comes with her
celebrity.
“I have a love-hate relationship with the Internet,” The
Biebs’ main squeeze explains. “I don’t like it in
general — it’s vicious. But it’s also incredibly that I
can connect with fans, because I love to hear their
feedback and let them know about my life.”

Britney Spears has been going after Kellan Lutz!
Sources confirm that the Twilight hunk was offered to
play the pop singer’s steamy boy-toy in the video for
her third single, “I Wanna Go.”
However, Mr. Lutz politely declined. The news, first
reported by Hollywood Life, comes just a couple of weeks
after Spears and Lutz met for the first time when he
attended her Beverly Hills fundraiser earlier this month
for the St.
Bernard Project’s ongoing Hurricane Katrina relief
efforts. The video, being shot in L.A. today and
tomorrow, Lutz apparently would have rescued Spears from
pesky paparazzi before going on to lock lips in the
backseat of a car.
Hunky character also turns out to be a robot. No word on
who eventually snagged the part, but sources deny the
report that Matthew McConaughy was also approached about
the gig.

Joe Jonas: Solo Album 'A Whole New Experience'
The elder singer among the Jonas Brothers has been
working solo on what he calls a bit of a "coming of age"
album.
“I wanted to be really honest with what I wrote about,
whether good or bad, I think it's a coming of age record
to it has a feel you can play in the club, but also
there are songs that I think are heartfelt," the
21-year-old told PEOPLE while hosting a party Saturday
at Tao Las Vegas.
Since brothers Kevin and Nick were not constantly with
him as he recorded his solo album – which will be
released in September – he said the recording process
was different.
"It's a whole new experience for me. I mean, a good
experience, because I'm able to write songs that I have
been wanting to write for a long time. It's completely
brand new to me," he said.
But rest assured, Jonas Brothers fans, the group isn't
breaking up. According to Joe, they're "just taking a
little break right now."

Britney Spears To Perform With Rihanna & Nicki Minaj At
Billboard Music Awards
Britney Spears will take the stage at Sunday's Billboard
Music Awards, according to a new report.
The pop star is reportedly headed to Sin City this
weekend for two surprise performances at the Billboard
event, according to Us Weekly.
Sources told the mag that the 29-year-old artist will
take the stage with Rihanna - possibly for the opening
number -- then again with rapper Nicki Minaj (who is
slated to join the "Hold It Against Me" singer on her
summer tour).
"It's gonna be big," one source told the mag. "People
will definitely be talking about it the next day."
Additionally, Us reported that Britney and Rihanna will
perform their remixed version of Riri's "S&M," while
Brit and Nicki will join forces for Britney's latest
hit, "Till The World Ends."
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Nicki
hits the road with Britney on June 16 in Sacramento,
Calif., and wraps on August 13 in Toronto, Ontario,
Canada.
"I'm looking forward to it... I know this will be a
different audience, and I'm exited to just be able to
transition from one tour to the next and not miss a
beat," Nicki told Access in a recent interview, about
her upcoming tour with the pop princess. "We're going to
put our all into this and make it exciting, very
different than the last one, but still keep it grounded
in hip hop, still make it bright and fun and
theatrical."

Pink Objects to Pink Horses in Selena Gomez's Music
Video
It may be her signature color, but Pink is upset about
horses being painted pink for the sake of a music video.
"If there are any animal activists around Malibu – at
Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted
for a stupid music video. Shame," Pink said on her
Twitter page on Thursday.
Turns out the painted horses were being used in Selena
Gomez's latest video.
"Artists should be more aware and responsible for their
actions," Pink later tweeted.
But Gomez's rep says the horses were not in any danger.
"It was important to the Production Company, Record
Label and Ms. Gomez that no animals were harmed and all
proper precautions were taken," Gomez's rep said in a
statement to PEOPLE. "A non toxic, vegetable based
powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed
with water. An official from the Humane Society was on
set supervising."

Britney Spears Reveals Tour-Ready Abs
For most people, the idea of working out for more than
six hours a day might sound like nothing short of
torture.
But Britney Spears can't get enough. For the last six
weeks, she's been training for 90 minutes a day,
followed by another five hours of dance rehearsals in
preparation for her North American tour, kicking off
June 16 in Sacramento.
"I'm pumped up!" Spears tells PEOPLE inside her cozy
dressing room on the Sony lot in Culver City, Calif.
"We've been working hard. And the costumes are coming
next week. This is the exciting part, when all the
pieces – the masterpiece – come together."
During Spears's month and a half of prep time, trainer
Derek DeGrazio has cooked, packaged and labeled meals
(like baked fish and broccoli) and snacks (such as
celery with almond butter) for the 29-year-old pop star,
six days a week.
She does get a break from all the discipline, though.
Sunday, says Spears, is her "cheat day."
But it's certainly not derailing her efforts. Spears's
workouts and her 1,500-calorie-a-day nutrition plan have
whipped her into top tour shape.
"You can see the tone in her muscles – her arms, legs
and abs," says DeGrazio. "She looks amazing."

Selena Gomez: 'I Don't Like Hiding' My Relationship with
Justin Bieber
Despite donning matching outfits on Oscar night and
essentially coming out as a couple, Selena Gomez and
Justin Bieber have still been coy about their
relationship.
But now Gomez, who calls their Oscar after-party date
"our prom," admits she's sick of acting like her romance
with the pop star, 17, doesn't exist.
"I don't like hiding," Gomez tells Seventeen magazine.
"I do like to keep certain things to myself, but at the
end of the day, I'm 18 and I'm going to fall in love.
I'm going to hang out with people and I'm going to
explore myself, and I'm okay with that."
Her love life may seem just peachy now, but Gomez
confesses she's had her heart broken in the past.
"When I went through my first breakup, I thought it was
the end of the world, and I thought I was going to die
if I didn't have him in my life," she says. "It was good
to cry it out and just scream, or call my friends in the
middle of the night crying."
Speaking of relationships, Gomez says that she'll always
have a special place in her heart for her pal Demi
Lovato, who recently completed treatment for emotional
and physical issues.
"There's an amount of love that can never – no matter
what – be taken away or torn apart, no matter the
situation," says Gomez who calls "best friend" labels
"so ridiculous." "There are certain people who you will
always, always love, so if anything, this just reminded
me of how much I truly love her."

Miley Cyrus says her family is fine
Miley Cyrus says she feels more at ease heading out on
an international tour now that things are fine on the
home front.
Earlier this year, her parents, Billy Ray and Tish
Cyrus, were getting a divorce, and her father was
critical of his daughter's behavior. But the Cyruses
recently called of their divorce and the family is
spending time together.
"I think it's good, especially when you go on the road.
You have to make sure everyone is happy before you start
traveling, you're away. My family is good. They are
stoked for tour. As long as I'm happy they are happy,"
Cyrus said in an interview on Thursday.
The former "Hannah Montana" star is leaving for South
America and Australia on April 27 for her Gypsy Heart
Tour. It will be the first time Cyrus, whose most recent
album is titled "Can't Be Tamed," has gone to South
America, and she's excited — even though she won't be
able to communicate with her fans in their language.
"I speak zero Spanish. I actually failed Spanish so I
will have someone with me making sure I can get through
my way," she said.
She recently released one of the album's songs, "Every
Rose Has Its Thorn," in Australia, and said she's
excited to sing the Poison cover (which featured Bret
Michaels) there live.
But she won't be releasing that song in the United
States, and right now, she has no plans to tour in her
native country either.
"I just think right now America has gotten to a place
where I don't know if they want me to tour or not. Right
now I just want to go to the places where I am getting
the most love and Australia and South America have done
that for me," she said. "Kind of going to the places
where I get the most love. Don't want to go anywhere
where I don't feel completely comfortable with it."
