Angham celebrates radio station
award with audience

Egyptian diva singer Angham shows up next Thursday in (Eishha
Beshakl Tani) (live it in a different way) program on
Nogoum FM radio station.
The episode of the program in which Angham will
celebrate the award with her audience, would be the
first appearance of Angham after she was awarded the
stations award, (Nogoum FM Music Award) for the best
female music album this year,(Mahadesh yehasebny).
The award accolades, given for the first time in Egypt
this year, will be distributed during a high anticipated
big ceremony on December4th, expected to be attended by
a galaxy of Arab world’s top entertainment stars.

Ward’s
Album to be released in January
Rotana Company has set January 2011 as the time for
releasing next album of Algerian diva singer Warda.
In the album Warda co-operates with a galaxy of Arab
songwriters, composers; top among them are Khaled Ezz,
Amgad Al Atafy, Waleed Sa’d, and arrangers Ahmed Adel
and Mohamed Moustafa.
The album will include a number of surprises; among them
is a song composed by the late composer Riad Al Hamshari,
and arranged by Khaled Ezz.
Warda decided to postpone the idea of an album made
mainly of duet songs with stars like Kazem El Saher ,
Saber Arroba’y, Fadl Shaker and many others, until
another notice. She pointed that postponing doesn’t
cancel the idea that she very enthusiastic to and It
will be her next step.

Kaddhem
absent from New Year’s Eve’ parties, releases album in
January
Iraqi diva singer Kadhem Assaher won’t star any concert
in New Year’s Eve for reasons that he refused to
disclose.
This came as Asshaer declared that his coming album will
be released next January after a series of delays.
The album had previously been set to be released in Al
Adha feast, then it was delayed until New Year’s Eve
then delayed due to adding of three songs and
introducing technical changes to the tracks of the
album.
For his part, the singer’s business manager Karim Monzer
denied that there is any shortcoming from Rotana Company
that resulted in any of the delays of the album.

Ragheb Allama has expressed his
happiness!
Lebanese super star Ragheb Allama
has expressed his happiness about the success his latest
album (Seneen Raiha) (bygone years) achieved; with the
percentages of revenues hitting a boom especially in
Egypt and northern African Arab countries. Allama
stressed that this album made up for his long absence,
adding that he fell in love with this album because when
he picked up the songs of this album, his feelings were
the main factor behind his choices. Allama denied that
rumors about his knocking the doors of cinema whether it
was Egyptian or Lebanese as he never thought of himself
as an actor. He also condemned the absence of organizing
big singing parties in Egypt in comparison with other
Arab countries, stressing that this contradicts with
Egypt’s big name in the art of music and singing. In a
separate context, Allama said the coming period would
see more activity on the front of his work as an
ambassador for climate affairs, stressing that charity
work comes on top of his priorities.

Tamer Hosni
in (Ibn El
Balad) TV series

Egyptian singer Tamer Hosni
has reached an agreement with script writer Ahmad Abu
Zaid and the producing company of his debut TV series (Ibn
El Balad) to nominate actresses Mai Ezzadin and Dorra
for co-starring the series along with him. Tamer said
the nomination comes after the great success the two
actresses achieved in their drama works shown on TV in
Ramadan this year. Ezzedin had starred a series called (Kadiat
safiea (safia’s case)) with Tarek Lotfy and Dorra played
the role of Moustafa Sha’ban wife in (ElA’r ( The
Disgrace)), a role which drew her much acclaim and
stardom as the series was one of the most popular ones
in Ramadan this year. The nominations came although the
director of the series has not been decided yet. The
start of casting the series is scheduled for next March
after Hosny wrappers up the casting of his coming movie
(Omar We Salma 3) (Omar& Selma, part 3), and it is
scheduled to hit the TV screen next Ramadan.
